We donated $8000 to the BC Chefs Junior Scholarship program. The 50/50 Balloon Pop and silent auction raised over $5000 which was donated to Heart & Stroke, Canadian Cancer and the Half-Your-Plate Program.

The annual Healthy Chef Competition
Every year, since 1999, the BCPMA Healthy Chef Competition welcome 500+ guests to celebrate the fruits and vegetables consumption through a friendly competition. During the evening, ten restaurants create an array of meals where fresh produce ingredients are the STARS of the plate.
Every guest has two cards on their seat. Those cards reveal which restaurant will cook their entrée. Their dessert will come from another restaurant. Everyone enjoys a different meal!
Later that evening, the best entrée, the best dessert, and the best table showcase are selected. We also celebrate a People's Choice favourite restaurant.
The event is co-hosted by BC Produce Marketing Association (BCPMA) and BC Chefs’ Association (BCCA).
