DeVone Claybrooks – Head Coach DeVone enters his first season as the 26th head coach in BC Lions history. Claybrooks joins the Lions after serving as defensive coordinator on the coaching staff of the Calgary Stampeders for the past three years (2016-2018).
Bryan Chiu – Offensive Line Coach A native of Vancouver, Bryan enters his first year as part of the BC Lions coaching staff following three years as offensive line coach for the Ottawa RedBlacks (2015-2017).
Ryan Phillips – Defensive Back Coach: First year coach with the BC Lions after an illustrious 12 year career patrolling the BC Lions Secondary. He is a 4-time CFL All Star and 2 time Grey Cup Champion.
Drew Tate – Quarterbacks Coach: Drew enters his first season with the BC Lions coaching staff and will tutor the club’s stable of quarterbacks following 12 seasons in the CFL with Saskatchewan, Calgary and Ottawa.
Chris Ellis – Defensive Line Coach Chris enters his first season with the Lions and his first as a coach in the CFL. A native of Virginia, he was most recently on the staff of the University of New Hampshire where he spent two years coaching the school’s defensive line.
Taylor Altilio – Special Teams Coordinator Taylor enters his first season as the club’s special team coordinator after serving as an assistant on the staff of the Calgary Stampeders for the past three seasons.
Keith Stokes – Special Teams & Offensive Assistant: Offensive Assistant: Keith begins his first season as a special teams and offensive assistant with the BC Lions coaching staff on the heels of a playing career that spanned 16 seasons and three different countries.
