About Jason Hsu, First Cook Jason Hsu has been in the cooking industry since he was 17. Working at Cardero’s and Grouse Mountain, he got a good first glimpse into the kitchen world. He then went on to graduate from The Culinary Institute of America, and has worked at multiple hotels such as The Hazelton and Fairmont Waterfront before joining the team at Delta Burnaby 3 years ago where under the guidance of Executive Chef James Thomson and team, he has grown into his current role as a First Cook. The highlight of his career has been being able to compete as a commis for the Bocuse D’or national trials in 2017.
