About James Kennedy, CCC
About James Kennedy, CCC: James is the Corporate Chef - Training and Development for White Spot Restaurants Ltd. James manages the three levels of White Spot’s in-house Accredited Red Seal Chef Apprenticeship Program. Recently, James has taken on a Menu Development role for growing QSR brand Triple O’s in Canada and Hong Kong. In 2016, James was inducted into the BC Restaurant Hall of Fame in recognition of his contributions to the restaurant industry in British Columbia. Prior to joining White Spot in 2008, James enjoyed Executive Chef and Ownership positions in several Vancouver properties during his career. This includes Lonsdale Quay Hotel and the social enterprise inspired Cook Studio Café. Notable guests he has cooked for include former US President George H.W Bush and wife Barbara and former Irish President Mary McAleese among others.
